Changing compression level does nothing to eliminate poorly constructed programming. Huffman compression is very lossy and introduces unacceptable color mangling. Perhaps if the programmers spoke with actual photographers to know how they want these things to work? Something clearly not done here with Dropbox. It is the antithesis of "easy" and "simple" if one has to argue with a file system that wants to avoid overwriting the original (that is what it is, overwritng, when you redo an action and save the file to the same location as last time, even if that location is different than the actual original).

An undo feature would automatically save a temporary version of the altered pic which, when used with a full sized (not thumbnail) preview, can then simply be undone if the results are unacceptable. Only a fool would edit thier photos without an undo option. Undo is absolutely necessary for real photo editing.

The "preview" mangles very large pics (13 megapixel pics are about half a gigabyte) and fails to show artifacts being introduced.
